This contemporary pendant measures 20mm x 14mm (approx. 3/4" x 1/2") and holds a 7mm trillion cut Chatham Blue Sapphire (1.56ct) and two 2.5mm White Sapphires. The trillion cut Blue Sapphire is set in a partial bezel and the WhiteSsapphires are channel set.
CHATHAM BLUE SAPPHIRE: While sapphire exists in a multitude of shades, blue is the color that has most captured the imagination and become associated with this much-loved gemstone. In fact, the name ‘Sapphire’ is derived from the Latin word for blue. In 1975 the Chatham Laboratories announced the world’s first lab-grown Blue Sapphire of true gem quality. Shimmering with the same intense, velvety blue that inspired the poets and philosophers of the ancient world.
