Birthstone- September- Sapphire- Handmade 5-Strand Swarovski Necklace

This necklace is handmade and comes from the new birthstone range we have in store. Each item is unique and we only have one of each item available, however if you would like more than one, please get in touch as it may be possible for us to make you another.

A gemstone surrounded in legend- Sapphire is the birthstone of September. In ancient times it represented wisdom, power & faith. The calming properties of sapphire are used to increase ones mental clarity & soothe nervous episodes.

This beautiful necklace is made with stunning blue Swarovski beads; all 5 strands are of varying lengths, making this stylish necklace truly eye-catching. The approximate length of the longest strand is 31cm/ 12.3ins; should you wish to make it longer, it has been made with an extension chain. It and would make a perfect addition to any wardrobe. This necklace is truly unique and can't be found on the high street. It would go very well with either the September earrings or bracelet to make a perfect set.

Each purchase will come with a little information card which describes the properties of your chosen birthstone. In addition every item will be gift wrapped in tissue paper and will come in either an organza bag or gift box.

This pendant contains a 7mm checkerboard cut Citrine and a 3mm White Sapphire. The dimensions are 1 1/4 x 7/16 inches (37x18mm).

Originally, I designed this piece to hold the gemstone in an added head. Then, wanting to set a round stone which was just a bit too large to be set that way, it struck me that it would fit perfectly if the head was taken out of the picture to let a spring structure in the design itself hold the gem. The result is the stone becoming an intimate part of the piece in this tension setting.

CITRINE: Like amethyst, citrine is a member of the quartz family. A sunny quartz whose name comes from the French word for lemon. Colors range from lemon yellow to orange to the deep reddish orange of Madeira citrine. It is a birthstone for November. Treatment: Traditional heat treatment.

WHITE SAPPHIRE: The colorless member of the sapphire family, white sapphires are a natural and affordable alternative to diamonds. More expensive than CZs, but far less expensive than diamonds and nearly as brilliant as both. A lovely, durable gemstone and the birthstone for September.

ARGENTIUM SILVER is a special alloy, verified as the most tarnish resistant made, but an occasional simple wipe with a soft cloth, and tucking the piece into the provided, protective pouch will further enhance its natural aversion to tarnish. The heart itself is as anatomically correct as the real one beating away in your chest, with no detail overlooked. More than a few surgeons and nurses have told me this thing is spot on and, well, I guess they know. Completely hand carved, the heart is cast in the finest white bronze and plated thickly in silver.

The stones are AAA+ grade, micro-faceted and wrapped in Sterling silver wire. Each one is hand-selected for quality and colour - we've hunted the Four Corners to find the best stones out there. Their colour is matched only by their dazzling brilliance, and each one pairs with the heart perfectly. It's the birthstone necklace we've been wanting to make for years.

The heart measures 1" (24mm) and hangs with the stone on a 24" gunmetal chain. If you'd like a different length just let me know.

A bracelet made of Sapphire Swarovski crystals, sterling silver and pearls for the little girl in your life. Perfect for someone with a birthday in September or who just loves the color blue. Available in Sapphire AB also (It is a coating that creates a rainbow or iridescent effect. Just request it in the note section if you prefer this.) Add a pearl with each tooth she loses.
