1920s Art Deco Genuine Faceted Blue Sapphire Eternity Ring, 14K White Gold, Paris France.
A rare find:
A prong set pair of medium blue Sapphire eternity bands.
The bands are very well matched and were bought, by me, for my personal use, over 40 years ago in Paris.
The Sapphires are most likely from Ceylon; where lighter blue Sapphires can be found.
During the Art Deco Era there were still prong set eternity rings.
The amount of labor and material required to make such a ring would be prohibitive today.
The facets of the Sapphires and the prongs are all excellent vintage condition.
The prongs are large enough to properly hold and protect the faceted Sapphires.
The rings have only been worn for special occasions (photo #4 & #5).
ORIGIN: Paris France; not marked.
METAL: Test 14-18K white gold.
STONE: Genuine Ceylon Faceted Sapphires, Not Dyed, AAA Quality.
2mm. = 1/16" round full cut facets. 75point total weight each band.
SIZE: 5 for both rings.
The ring/ bands are 3mm. = 1/16" in width.
The ring comes up 2mm. = 3/16" off the hand.
WEIGHT: Each ring weighs 1.8gms.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition for both the Sapphires and the settings.
Boxed for gift giving; free gift wrap on request.
