This is a handmade, natural sapphire necklace, finished to your specifications of 16, 18, or 20 inches long. I have wire wrapped a single, organic, extra pale lilac sapphire onto a sterling silver chain, and the piece will be finished with a sterling silver magnetic clasp. The stone is approximately 7/16 inch long. Please see the photo of loose sapphires next to the nickel for scale. This sapphire necklace is dainty, but focuses on the sapphire and the organic rough beauty of the extra pale purple stone! This stone is a very pale lilac purple, appearing gray in some light and pinkish in others. This would be an excellent gift for anyone with a September birthday, or for any sapphire lover.This necklace is not a stereotypical “blue sapphire” but an organic, included (flawed), pale lilac purple stone.
