A modern tube setting sports the Beautiful blue sapphire (lab) in warm, polished sterling silver from recycled, guilt free sources. The band is about 2 1/4 mm wide hammered gently.
I can also make this in Ruby, emerald green Topaz, white topaz, and many others.
I took these pictures outside and with some flash, except one, and I put a flashlight on it to show the blue better. The enlarging makes them look a little splotchy to me - but I am not selling the photos (As if I ever could!) Anyway, the stone looks smooth and silky like sapphire always does. Not as light blue as my flashy pictures look.
