It would also make a beautifully affordable gift and can be personalized with other gemstones (birthstones are very popular).The medium size cross is embellished with vines and leaves and polished to a golden shine with darker oxidized metal in the recesses.The genuine Sapphire is dark blue and opaque. It has been faceted and then wire wrapped as a separate pendant to be worn together with the cross or on its own.Sapphire is the birthstone for September.
