Set low for maximum comfort, this ring can be worn as a unique engagement ring, as a birthstone ring, or stacked with other rings to create your own unique style. The rose cut sapphire is a light, blush pink color with slight dapples of blue colored inclusions within the stone. The free form oval shape gemstone measures approximately 4 x 5.5 mm and is set in a bezel style setting. The wave style band is made specifically for this gemstone and gracefully hugs one edge of the sapphire. The band has a rustic texture and measures approximately 1.5 mm in width. Rose cut gemstones are cut by hand and have one faceted surface while the bottom remains flat. As with most hand work, faceted patterns and placements will vary from specimen to specimen and will display characteristics unique to workmanship done by hand with traditional tools.
