The classically elegant ring is made up of a pear shaped natural (genuine) opal surrounded by 8 single cut diamonds approximately .01 carat each, H-I color and VS2 clarity, as well as 8 natural blue sapphires, each approximately 1mm all set in a 14k white gold band. The opal has beautiful flashes of pink, green, and blue. The opal measures approximately 8mm x 4mm and due to its age has some crazing but that doesn't affect the beauty of the stone. This has been taken into consideration in the pricing of the ring. The diamonds and deep blue natural sapphires compliment the opal beautifully. The setting is nice and strong and can be worn every day.
