I'm updating my review, partly in thanks to Linda who, after reading my original post saying that I'd had a problem with the ring, immediately contacted me and shipped me a replacement. I love this ring -- and I get many compliments on it -- so I am happy to have it again. The problem with the ring was probably more my fault than anything -- I wore it to work a couple of days and evidently knocked the lovely rose off at some point (probably when I was placing or removing my laptop from its case) - so now I'm making sure only to wear it on more formal occasions where I'm not knocking it around. :)
