Sapphire Blue Crystal Bead Accented Clear Beveled Glass Heart Suncatcher/Ornament with a Silver Line, September Birthstone
This simple, yet elegant, clear beveled glass heart ornament is accented with a sapphire blue colored swaravski crystal bead, the color of Septembers' birthstone and two silver beads. It was designed and handmade by me as part of a collection of twelve different birthstone related hearts, one for each month of the year. Foil, solder, and copper wire were used to attach the hearts' loop for hanging (Tiffany's method). It measures approximately 3"x3.75" (7.5x9.5cm).
Most everyone understands the language of a heart, "♥". It is said that HEART is the source of emotions: contrasted with HEAD, the source of intellect. We generally associate various humane feelings as coming from our hearts - love, devotion, sympathy, etc. This piece is not only beautiful but has something to say as well ~ and I love that!.
So there you have it... a little piece of beaded stained glass work that comes straight from my heart:)
