This gorgeous candy pink sapphire is simply luminous
It is a large rose cut stone in a gorgeous shade of pink, that can only be described as a muted watermelon
it has a nice translucency and subtle shadings to it
the stone is a nice long oval and weighs 6.5 carats
II have set it in a 22 kt gold bezel bezel and It sits on a sterling band that has been given a very detailed paisley pattern- i then lightly oxidized it to make the design really pop, and then gave the whole ring a nice polish
the contrast of the hight karat gold with the silver design and sublime pink of the stone is really lovely
