A beautiful necklace with multi colored ombre precious sapphires!
WHAT IS IT?
Micro-faceted blue, yellow, pink, and white Genuine Sapphire briolettes are hand-strung on a delicate chain for a light, elegant look, easy to wear with jeans or a designer outfit!
SIZE AND SPECS
The necklace is approx. 18" (45.7cm) long, with a 14k Gold Filled double rope chain finished with a 14k Gold Filled lobster claw clasp. The stones are approx. 3mm, hand-wrapped with 14k Gold Filled wire.
WHY SAPPHIRES?
Sapphires are found in many parts of the world, the most prized from Myanmar, Kashmir and Sri Lanka. Not only are they Victoria's birthstone (she's a September baby), traditionally, Sapphires symbolize nobility, truth, sincerity, and faithfulness. They have decorated the robes of royalty for centuries. In ancient Greece and Rome, kings and queens were convinced that blue Sapphires protected their owners from envy and harm. During the Middle Ages, the clergy wore blue Sapphires to symbolize Heaven, and ordinary folks thought the gem attracted heavenly blessings.
