Yes it is sapphire, real sapphire, not blue quartz but real gemstones. These gemstones are a glorious dark blue and beautifuly faceted - handcut to perfection. I have used sterling silver wire to handwire this necklace and the clasp is handmade by myself using sterling silver wire.
