The ribbed shank (classic of Oscar Heyman designs) measures 1.84mm to 2.74mm wide for a sturdy and comfortable fit, even for a ring of this magnitude! The central sapphire weighs approximately 1.11 carats and is adorned by approximately 3.83ct t.w. in perfectly matched pear cut sapphires. Also in this magnificent ring are 12 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing an accumulative 2.52cts in engagement ring quality diamonds (F-G color, VS1-VS2 in clarity) that are set in platinum to truly enhance the white frost of this ring! An outstanding grand total gem weight in this ring is approximately 7.61ct t.w.! This is the largest sapphire and diamond ring I have ever come across in the search to find special vintage & antique jewelry! The ring is stamped “68011 IRID.PLAT. 18K” and weighs 20.2 grams. The serial number '68011' is currently being authorized by Oscar Heyman Bros. but I am certain it is by this amazing jewelry house. This ring is currently a finger size 7.5 and my trusted jeweler can safely re-size this ring up or down two sizes, just ask!
